My art is concerned with relationships. There are actual or implied relationships in the arrangements of forms or shapes.  The juxtapositions of these forms and spaces, whether real or abstract, create patterns of subtle delineations in contrast with bold and
forceful forms. The expressive use of color is all important to me, whether soft and diffuse or defined with clarity.  Exploring these ideas in various media pose a joyful challenge.  Oil, collage, pastel, watercolor, printmaking and combinations of these media expand the expressions of my changing themes.
