With the world always changing, my work contains numerous possibilities for the changing focus of what we see around us. I want people to find their own meaning in my work; something they can relate to. I do not paint for one to look for a known meaning or certain object; instead, I want the viewer to try to receive what the painting has to offer, not a preconceived idea. Deliberately looking for something distracts from appreciating the work.

Whether the viewer reacts to a strong angular line or is pulled in by some unusual mixture of color is not my main concern, but only that there is that interaction between the viewer and art.
