My many years as a dancer with the New York City Ballet and the indelible impression of art on a grand scale strongly influence my approach to art.  The canvas as “stage” continues to interest me.  At present I am making abstractions of a complex and moody nature.  In many of the works subtle forms emerge suggesting the hidden depths of my emotions.  For me, painting will always suggest great space, possibility and drama.
