As my techniques and perception developeed, I felt the need to portray the emotional impact of the scenes more than the objects themselves. In expressing my impressions in abstract form I am conciously freeing form and color from nature to focus on the essential order of things as I see and feel them. My work as part of that process employs whatever medium can best express my thoughts and feelings. The message says, "here is something that I say, and how it made me feel". It is a simple message, dealing with inward emotions expressed in aesthetic design.
